Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services ships with confidence scores and citations. Your bank's onboarding and credit work is getting an agent.

Google Cloud press release

What happened

Google Cloud launched Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services on August 25, 2026, in preview for capital markets and corporate banking. It includes a Google-managed Financial Research agent, more than 50 skills, and 13 data connectors. Connectors include Dun & Bradstreet, Moody’s, S&P Global, and SEC Edgar. Partner agents include a D&B Business Verification Agent for commercial onboarding and KYC. The research agent shows confidence scores, data snapshots, and source citations. Deutsche Bank, a design partner, will use it across its Corporate Bank division.

What it means

The design choice worth copying is provenance. Every output carries a confidence score, a snapshot of the data used, and citations. That is what an auditor asks for, and it is a fair standard for any finance agent. Corporate banking is also the side of the bank that onboards your company.

Why it matters to you

For treasury, your banks’ onboarding and KYC requests can start coming from agent-assisted teams. For credit and AR teams, the same D&B verification agent points at your own customer onboarding and credit checks. For anyone buying finance agents, Google set a bar for evidence, with confidence, data, and sources on every answer.

What to watch

The product is in preview for capital markets and corporate banking. Watch for general availability and for more parts of the bank. Watch how Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank uses it. Watch whether other finance agent makers copy its confidence scores, data snapshots, and citations.
