Brief

Sage Intacct opens an agent marketplace and prices agents per request

Certified partner agents now plug into Sage Copilot, bought through AWS Marketplace. Each time a user presses Send, it counts.

Sage Intacct 2026 R3 release notes

What happened

Sage Intacct’s 2026 Release 3, dated August 7, 2026, added an agent marketplace. Admins can browse agents from certified Sage partners, buy them through AWS Marketplace, and assign them to Intacct roles. Agents use a tiered subscription, and a request counts each time a user selects Send. Marketplace agents need a Finance Intelligence Agent subscription. The marketplace covers Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The same release added AI anomaly detection for AP Automation.

What it means

Sage is building an app store for finance agents with three rules on top: certification, role-based access, and a per-request meter. Billing runs through AWS. That puts agent spend on your AWS bill, not your Sage invoice. Certification gives controllers a starting point for vendor diligence. Your own review of each agent’s access still applies.

Why it matters to you

Controllers get a governed way to add specialist agents without a separate integration project. Access runs through Intacct roles. The per-request meter means cost tracks how often your team asks, so a popular agent costs more in direct proportion to its use.

What to watch

The marketplace covers Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Watch for more countries. Watch how many certified partner agents join, and what the request tiers cost as usage grows. Watch whether other ERP vendors copy the three rules of certification, role-based access, and a per-request meter.
