Invoiced is a mid-market accounts receivable platform that Flywire (NASDAQ: FLYW) bought on 2024-08-02 for $55M, $47.5M in cash and $7.5M contingent on performance goals (Medium). It was founded in 2012 in Austin, Texas, and took no outside venture funding before the sale (Medium). It now sells as “Invoiced by Flywire.” Flywire discloses no Invoiced revenue line, excludes Invoiced clients from its client counts, and calls B2B a “relatively new” sector in its 10-K (High). Nucleus Research named Invoiced a Leader in the 2026 AR Value Matrix on 2026-09-22 (High). Bottom line: a well-rated SMB-to-mid-market AR tool repositioned as a rails-plus-agents platform inside a payments company, with analyst momentum but no disclosed scale.
What does it sell?
The product runs invoice-to-cash end to end with embedded payments on Flywire’s network: 1,200+ local payment options, 140+ currencies and 240+ countries and territories, with “$37.5B moved annually” (vendor claim). Integration Studio offers native ERP sync for NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Xero, Workday and Salesforce (High).
The target is mid-market B2B finance teams, though G2 describes it as built for small and mid-sized businesses (Medium). It is US-based and sells globally (Medium). Pricing is custom only. The pricing page lists no tiers or rates and routes to “Schedule a Demo” (High). The subscription and processing split is not public (unverified).
- Not marketed: e-invoicing or mandate coverage, credit decisioning, dispute or deduction workflow, vertical depth for B2B, and no SOC 2 claim on the integrations page.
What does it ship for AI agents?
Four agents are marketed with human approval built in (High). Assist drafts reminders, replies and invoices from contracts. Automate runs Smart Chasing dunning, CashMatch AI matching and Remittance Advice AI, posting matches above a customer-set confidence threshold. Advise monitors risk, and Configure proposes rule changes that the customer approves before they run. The agents page states no general-availability or beta status and no AI pricing (High). The Flywire release names an MCP server that exposes AR data to outside agents, but the integrations page makes no MCP claim (Medium).
What does a buyer need to check?
G2 shows 4.5 from 417 reviews, and Capterra 4.7 from 149 (Medium). Small business makes up 77.1% of G2 reviewers (Medium). The top complaint is support responsiveness, followed by data sync errors that led to double payments (Medium). G2’s summary also lists “a significant increase in price” among the cons, with size and date not public (unverified).
Homepage outcome stats (“45% fewer billing inquiries,” “14-day average DSO improvement”) are vendor averages with no method shown (High). The company stopped publishing a customer count after the acquisition, having claimed “over 20,000 companies” in 2020 (Medium). Ownership stage is subsidiary. No contingent milestones remained outstanding at 2025-12-31 (High).
