SAP sells ERP, finance, procurement, HR, and data software to large enterprises, and it is listed in Frankfurt and New York. Q3 2026 cloud revenue rose 26% to €6.7 billion, and total quarterly revenue passed €10 billion for the first time (High). Current cloud backlog reached €24.1 billion, up 28%. SAP expects 2026 cloud revenue near the top of €25.8 to €26.2 billion at constant currencies. The bottom line is that SAP is moving its installed base to cloud ERP and selling Joule agents on top of it.

SAP calls its strategy the Autonomous Enterprise, built on Joule Work and Joule Assistants (High). It bought Dremio and Prior Labs in July 2026 and agreed to buy TechWolf. SAP says quarter-specific effects, mainly a revenue catch-up from customers returning from financial distress, lifted Q3 cloud growth (High).

What does it sell?

Cloud ERP Suite revenue grew 29% to €5.9 billion in Q3, while software license revenue fell 9% (High). Customers buy through RISE with SAP for large companies and GROW with SAP for midsize ones. List prices are not public. SAP Taulia sells working capital products, including dynamic discounting, virtual cards, AR financing, and supply chain finance.

SAP Taulia reports more than $1.2 trillion in annual transaction volume and 40+ funding partners (High, self-reported). Its products sit inside SAP’s Business Suite. Named Taulia customers include Airbus, Red Bull, and Bridgestone.

What does it ship for AI agents?

Shipped: the Accounts Receivable Assistant coordinates named Joule Agents for collections, disputes, dunning insights, account analysis, and clearing (High). The page describes the tasks but gives no availability date for each agent. Customers can also orchestrate custom agents they build. SAP lists separate Billing and Cash and Treasury assistants.

Absent: the Working Capital Agent from SAP Taulia. SAP plans general availability in Q4 2026, starting inside Joule (High). It will read a customer’s working capital position and execute financing actions through a conversation.

What does a buyer need to check?

The agent list is long, but availability is not stated agent by agent. Buyers must ask which AR agents run in production in their release and region. The collections email agent sends customer messages, so approval rules matter. The public page does not describe those controls.

Price is a negotiation. SAP publishes no list price for Joule or its assistants, and AI use sits inside wider cloud contracts. Buyers must get AI consumption terms in writing before they move to RISE or GROW.
