Upflow sells AR software to small and mid-sized B2B companies, mostly software firms, from Paris and New York. It relaunched on August 27, 2026, under the label Financial Relationship Management, a term no analyst uses (High). The product covers collections, AR analytics, a customer payment portal on Stripe, and cash application. The bottom line is that Upflow is a well-rated, fast-shipping collections tool with no new capital since 2024, so momentum is steady.

Alex Louisy and Barnaby Malet founded Upflow in 2018 inside the eFounders studio, and it joined Y Combinator in Winter 2020 (High). Its last raise was a $5M Series A extension in April 2024, led by Lorimer Ventures. Tracked rounds sum to about $23M, while Upflow says more than $25M (Medium). Third-party headcount estimates run from 56 to 74 (Medium). Revenue is not disclosed.

What does it sell?

Upflow Insights gives free AR analytics, benchmarks, and cash forecasting. Collections runs email, SMS, call, and letter workflows. Payments adds a branded portal, autopay, and surcharge controls on Stripe Connect. Cash App matches bank feeds against open invoices (High). Embedded invoice financing carries a “Coming Soon” label.

Tiers are public, and subscription prices are quote only. Bands run from Starter, up to $10M in annual invoiced revenue, to Enterprise above $100M, with unlimited seats on every tier (High). Vendr reports a $15,300 median contract (Medium). Payments cost 3.5% plus $0.30 per card charge, 0.8% capped at $5 for ACH, and a $390 monthly platform fee (High). Stripe lists US cards at 2.9% plus 30 cents, so Upflow resells the same rail at a 0.6-point card markup.

Upflow has 14 native integrations, led by NetSuite and Sage Intacct. SAP S/4HANA and Dynamics 365 Business Central show as coming soon (High). In Europe it supports SEPA Direct Debit and BACS tracking, and it partners with Pennylane. Upflow does no billing and starts after the invoice exists in the ERP or billing tool.

What does it ship for AI agents?

Shipped: a Cash App agent on May 19, 2026, and a read-only MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot on June 4, 2026 (High). The collection agent is still in beta, with access through a customer success manager. Ask Upflow AI is read-only, and Upflow names no model provider. The 2026 changelog lists about 30 dated releases.

Agents gate by tier. The collection agent starts at Scale, up to $50M in invoiced revenue, and the Cash App agent starts at Accelerate, up to $100M (High). A $30M company on Scale still matches cash by hand.

What does a buyer need to check?

Customers rate Upflow highly. G2 shows 4.8 on about 230 reviews, with 58.8% of reviewers mid-market and 1.8% enterprise (Medium). Top complaints are rigid reporting and email template limits, then ERP sync gaps. Nucleus placed Upflow in the Accelerator tier of its 2026 AR Value Matrix, not Leader (High).

Scale claims shift by source. Upflow said 500+ businesses in October 2024 and “thousands of finance teams” in August 2026, with 28 public customer stories (High on the gap). The 98% auto-match rate has no published method (Medium). Upflow offers no credit management and no deductions handling, and disputes arrived only as AI suggestions in February 2026.
