AI Maturity Assessment

Ten questions that show which of the four kinds of AI agent your finance team gets value from, and which one it leaks value from.

This assessment places your team on the Assist, Automate, Advise and Configure ladder from the essay “The 75% of AI Value You’re Leaving on the Table”.

Each question gets an answer on a four-point scale, from “Not at all” to “In production across the team”. The result names three things:

  • The stage your team is at. That is the highest stage where it averages “In production for some work” or better, with every earlier stage also reached.
  • The stage it leaks the most value from. That is the stage with the lowest average answer.
  • Your three lowest answers, so you know where to start.
